¹ The theme for 2011 is “You Are Here”
¹ The movies must be written, directed, filmed, and edited by teens, ages 13-18
¹ All music and artwork in the videos must be original, in the public domain, or with the permission of the copyright owner
¹ There are 2 categories: Public Service Announcement (30-90 seconds) and Short Film (3-5 Minutes)
¹ Each video maker or video-making group may submit up to one video in each category
¹ Videos must be G or PG-rated in language and subject. Videos will be previewed for content and accepted at the discretion of participating libraries
¹ All editing must be done before submitting the video
¹ Entry forms must be received for each participant and each video before the videos are uploaded to YouTube
¹ Specific instructions for uploading to YouTube will be given to participants when an Entry Form is submitted to a participating library
¹ By signing the Entry Form and participating in the competition, entrants agree to be bound by these contest rules
