Video Criteria for Acceptance
Videos in the Public Service Announcement (PSA) category must:
Be between 30 and 90 seconds
Use the CSLP 2011 teen slogan “You Are Here” to convey the idea of teens as a part of a diverse country and world where all are unique and important
Promote the idea of using public libraries to learn about
ourselves and our world
Promote the fun of reading
Be usable by any library nationwide, specific library or program information is not allowed
May include “You Are Here” audio in English, Spanish and/or Instrumental
Videos in the Short Film Category must:
Be between 3 and 5 minutes
Use the “You Are Here” theme as you interpret it
Include credits of participating teens
Include credits in the total runtime
Videos will be judged on
Creativity
Message clarity and relevance
Motivation and inspiration
Overall impact
